Agni Siragugal is dedicated to the social and economic welfare of SC and OBC communities in remote villages surrounding Tiruchirapalli, including Edamalaipatti Pudhur, Sendhanipurram, Uppu Parai, and OFT Poolangudi. Our core objectives are achieved through successful programs focused on creating awareness of rights, enabling Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), and providing vocational training, especially for women. Empowering Rural Youth: One-Day Education Awareness Camp
The foundation organized a one-day camp focused on future education awareness for children living in rural areas. This initiative aimed to highlight the importance of school education, inspiring young minds to pursue learning for a brighter future. Through engaging activities and informative sessions, the camp sought to empower children with the knowledge and motivation to value their education. Volunteers and educators collaborated to create an enriching environment, fostering a deeper understanding of the benefits of education and its role in shaping their lives and communities.
Promoting Education: Awareness Program for Rural Children
An awareness program was held to emphasize the importance of school education for rural children. Through interactive sessions and engaging activities, the initiative inspired young minds to value learning and stay in school. Foundation's Tree Plantation Drive to Combat Global Warming
To combat global warming, the foundation organized a tree plantation program at the temple, Poigai, and various public areas. Volunteers actively participated, planting numerous trees to enhance green cover and promote sustainability. This initiative highlights the importance of local actions in addressing global environmental challenges.
Empowering Women: Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Awareness Program
Agni Siragugal Global Charitable Trust organized an awareness program for women's development, focusing on the 'Mahila Samman Savings Certificate' scheme introduced by the government. The program aimed to inform and educate women about the scheme during a meeting.

Distribution of Food Kits at Rural & Urban Areas of Thiruchirappalli
We provided essential supplies and relief material such as hygiene kits and food packages to daily wage workers and low-income group.We reached out and positively affected the lives of over 1000 families living in the slums opposite to Thiruchirappalli rural and urban areas and in other prominent areas such as Edamalaipattiputhur, Ramachandra Nagar, MGR Nagar, KK Nagar, Ponnagar Udayanpatti near Pankajam.

88% of menstruating women in India do not have access to sanitary products during their period, and use alternatives like pieces of rag, ash, sand and husk. Poor menstrual hygiene therefore is responsible for almost 70% of reproductive diseases in India. Adolescent girls drop out of school for lack of access to a sanitary napkin. To combat this, we conducted a program for adolescent girls and women in the rural area, on use of sanitary napkins.

Awareness Program on the ill effects of Alcohol and Drugs
Alcohol and drug addiction is a serious problem among adolescents and young adults, as it creates growth and development problems. The human brain is not fully developed until an individual is in their early 20’s. With this being the case, adding mind-altering, foreign substances into the body is a serious issue that can have lifetime effects. it is therefore critical to educate our youth about the inherent dangers of substance use.
An awareness program for women, on their rights, in situations of abuse and harassment
We conducted an awareness program for women educating them on their rights and recourses. Our long-term goal is to reduce the prevalence of gender-based violence in the region through behaviour and attitudinal change among boys and men, and challenge the deeply rooted inequalities.
